Overview
This alloys group with high copper content, where are included the COPPER - CHROME, COPPER - CHROME - CIRCONIO, COPPER CIRCONIO, CADMIUM COPPER, COPPER - CADMIUM - TIN, COPPER - NICKEL - SILICON and the COPPER - SILICON - MANGAN , is characterized by their/its good resistance properties to the traction, hardness, resistance to the corrosion, resistance to the oxidation, etc... with a good conductivility electrical. The alloys to base of Cr, Zr and Neither - If are submitted to thermal processing to obtain their/its optimum features. In all the cases the mechanical work to the fact that they may have been submitted influences the final properties..

USE OF COPPER ALLOYS AS WELD ELECTRODES BY RESISTANCE
As electrical weld electrodes by resistance by points, by rings, by protuberances and to ceiling are used the alloys, with high copper content K-201 (Copper - chrome), K-202 (copper - chrome - circonio) and K-204 (copper - cadmium), as well as the copper - berilio according to the next recommendations:
K-202.-
Is the most usually it used as electrode in a way for the weld by sweet steel points.
K-202.-
For rings and honest electrodes in the sweet steel weld and especially adapted for steels to covers.
K-204.- Adapted for the weld by aluminium points.
K-301.-
For tweezers arms of soldering by points.
K-302.-
For the weld by points and by roldanas of stainless steel and refractory steel, as well as for the weld by protuberances and to ceiling as a rule.
K-303.-
For certain weld gags to ceiling and electrodes that support large pressures. |
